The vision for Green iElevate Africa was born in 2020, fueled by the urgent need to uplift vulnerable communities through innovative, people-focused solutions. What began as a small initiative quickly evolved into a full-fledged movement, engaging in healthcare support, economic empowerment, environmental conservation, and disability inclusion.
Green iElevate Africa is a dynamic, impact-driven organization dedicated to empowering marginalized communities, promoting healthcare access, fostering environmental sustainability, and driving economic transformation across Uganda. Founded in 2020, our mission is to create lasting change by addressing critical challenges faced by women, children with disabilities, low-income families, and communities vulnerable to environmental hazards. Our approach is community-centered, sustainable, and action-oriented, ensuring that every initiative we undertake leaves a meaningful and measurable impact.

Green iElevate Africa is honored to participate in the upcoming UN General Assembly Science Side Event scheduled for September this year. This session will spotlight our work in creating sustainable solutions for persons with disabilities, particularly mothers and children from underprivileged backgrounds. Our goal is to foster collaboration among key stakeholders, including:
1. People with Disabilities
2. Hospitals and Medical Professionals
3. Doctors’ Associations

Empowering Mothers and Children with Disabilities: At Green iElevate Africa, we are committed to transforming the lives
We are committed to transforming the lives of mothers and children with disabilities by providing sustainable solutions for income generation, food security, education, and healthcare access.
We recognize that these families face unique challenges, and our holistic approach ensures they have the tools and opportunities to thrive. Through skill development, agricultural initiatives, and community-driven programs, we empower these individuals to build a sustainable future for themselves and their communities.
We focus on giving women the tools and financial understanding to support themselves. Our programs provide practical skills like tailoring and fashion design, which help women start their own small businesses. Additionally, we offer training in business and financial literacy, teaching them how to manage money and run a business. This work results in women finding jobs and increasing their household income, which improves their overall lives. By promoting financial independence, we help women build long-term, stable livelihoods.
Healing Hands: Transforming Lives Through Free Medical Care & Outreach

We have a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Entebbe Children's Surgical Hospital (ECSH) to provide free pediatric surgeries for children aged 1 month to 18 years, ensuring access to life-saving medical care for families in need. Through this partnership, we have facilitated four successful surgeries, covering specialized procedures worth thousands of dollars at no cost to the beneficiaries. This initiative has helped families save millions of UGX, alleviating the financial burden of critical medical treatment. Additionally, we provide ongoing post-surgical support, ensuring each child receives the necessary follow-up care for a full recovery.

Through our medical camps, we provide free, comprehensive healthcare services to vulnerable communities, focusing on women, children, and individuals living with disabilities. At our recent camp at St. Ponsiano Catholic Church, we served over 500 patients, offering vital medical interventions, including deworming for 200 children, 80 TB tests (with 30 positive cases detected), and antenatal care for 45 expecting mothers. Our services also include health screenings, medical consultations, elderly care, and health education.

This initiative is made possible through partnerships with HiPiPo, My Doctor, Kiruddu Hospital TB Department, KAPCDAM, St. Ponsiano Catholic Church, Global Ease Medical Centre, Natal Health, and local youth groups. By working together, we ensure critical healthcare reaches those in need, particularly individuals with conditions such as cerebral palsy, autism, and heart failure. Our commitment extends beyond treatment, as we strive to expand our medical outreach and provide continuous follow-up care for lasting impact.

Sustainable Agriculture for Nutrition and Income Generation Green iElevate Africa has launched an urban farming initiative 2024 - 2025
Nutrition is a critical aspect of our work, as many children with disabilities require specialized diets that can be costly and difficult to access. To address this, Green iElevate Africa has launched an urban farming initiative that enables mothers to grow nutritious food while also generating income. By integrating sustainable farming techniques such as vertical gardening, sack gardening, and bottle farming, we maximize food production within limited urban spaces. Our agricultural programs focus on cultivating tomatoes, pumpkins, mushrooms, and a variety of vegetables, ensuring a steady supply of fresh produce while also creating economic opportunities.

Saving Lake Victoria & Working On Environmental Issues
With keen interest on Lake Victoria, iElevate Africa has partnered with youth-led organizations i.e. Youth Go Green, Smart Youth Network Initiative and Dzaleka Youth Organization [from Malawi] and other government and local government entities like Uganda Wildlife Conservation Education Centre (UWEC) to amplify its message as regards to environmental protection, especially through proper solid waste management, owing to the fact that much of the solid waste, if not properly managed and disposed of, ends up in Lake Victoria, hence, polluting it. “Households, farms and industries all generate waste. When this waste is not properly disposed of, it can have dire effects. For example, if solid waste is dumped into channels, it ends up finding its way into Lake Victoria, owing to the fact that most channels drain into streams which also drain into the lake. Besides, the solid waste can block these channels and cause stagnation. The health effects that come with such occurrences should have no place in our societies, especially now, that we are educated and aware of these facts.
